General Purpose: Compliance Officer ensures the Bank adheres to external regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal policies and procedures. This role involves identifying and managing compliance risks, ensuring effective internal controls, staying up to date with regulatory changes, and supporting business areas in meeting their compliance obligations.

Wat de functie inhoudt
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant AML/CFT laws, regulations, and internal policies, adapting to any changes in regulatory requirements
- Conduct investigations of customer transactions and activities to identify unusual or suspicious behavior.
- Ensure timely submission of objective and subjective reports to the FIU as required.
- Assess customer risk exposure and provide recommendations based on identified AML/CFT risks.
- Investigate compliance breaches, irregularities, and non-compliance issues.
- Provide guidance to employees on compliance regulations and the impact of non-compliance.
